Q: Is this a License To Carry Course?

A: No, this is the course you should take before your LTC course.  The LTC course IS NOT for new shooters. New shooters cannot pass the shooting test required for the LTC and often kicked get off the range for safety violations. We will teach you the basics. And with some practice, you'll be ready for the LTC shooting test.

Q: What's included with this offer?

A: Your range fee and classroom instruction are included with this offer. You will need 50 rounds of ammunition per shooter.  You can buy some on-site at the range or get some from your local stores.  Note: Make sure they are brass case (Not steel or aluminum)

 

Q: Do I need to have a gun to take this course?

A: No, there are firearms available for rent at the shooting range. There's also ammunition available as well.

Q: I'm a beginner. Is this the right class for me?

A: Absolutely. This class is perfect for new beginners or skilled amateurs who want to learn or relearn the fundamentals of shooting.

Q: Where is the location of this course?

A: The shooting range is located on Katy Freeway between Memorial City and the Energy Corridor.

Q: How much does the class cost?

A: Currently, this course is priced at $129. That's a lower price than our competitors for a 3-hour course.

Q: What topics are covered in this course?

A: Topics will include: Fundamentals of Shooting, Safe Handling & Storage of Firearms, Concealed vs. Open, and Constitutional Carry

Q: What equipment do I need to participate in this course?

A:  Hearing and eye protection will be provided by the range. You can buy ammo from the range or buy it from a local sporting goods store. If you're planning on renting a gun from the range, then you'll have to buy their ammo as well.

Q: Where can I find ammo?

A: You can find ammunition at your local sporting goods stores such as Academy, Dick's Sporting Goods, Bass Pro Shops, Carter's Country, etc.  Some gun ranges also allow ammo to be sold as retail.  Make sure to go to these stores as soon as they open.  If all else fails, you can buy ammo at the gun range.
